Your memories belong to you.

1. What We Collect

We store what you choose to log, including your memory content, the time you recorded it, and tags you add. We do not collect your location or contacts.

Memory Genie collects limited technical information to keep the app reliable. A small set of content-free app health events is sent when an app session starts or an important operation fails and is kept for 7 days. Crash information can include an app-installation identifier, app version, crash time, device model and technical specifications, operating system version, app state, stack traces, and error details. Crash diagnostics are processed through Google Firebase Crashlytics, which keeps crash reports and associated identifiers for 90 days before beginning removal. This technical information does not include your memories, tasks, shopping items, recordings, or transcripts.

Memory Genie's hosting provider also creates operational request logs containing technical request facts such as time, route, result, latency, network address, and device/app user agent. These operational logs are currently kept for 30 days. Memory Genie does not place diagnostic request bodies, support codes, or saved content into its diagnostic endpoint logs.

2. How Your Data Is Used

Your memories are used only to help you remember.

Memory Genie allows you to retrieve, search, and organize what you've saved.

We do not show ads, and we never sell or share your data.

AI tools are designed to help you, not extract your information.

3. How We Protect Your Data

Your data is encrypted in transit and stored in a secure private environment.

We follow strong security practices to help ensure your memories stay safe and confidential.

And most importantly: no one, not even our team, can view or access your memories.

4. Who Can Access Your Memories

Only you can access your saved content. Our team cannot view your saved content.

Authorized Memory Genie operators can view the limited automatic app health events described above for 7 days and Crashlytics crash diagnostics during Google's 90-day retention period. If you send a diagnostic report or start temporary support logging, they can also view that content-free report for up to 14 days. Your detailed on-device history is not sent unless you choose one of those support actions.

You are in full control of what you log and what you choose to delete.

5. Deleting Your Data

Your memories are yours to manage.

You can permanently delete your data at any time from within the app.

We do not retain deleted items or keep hidden backups.
